Dragracing around Orange County

I just moved to Capo Beach and I was wondering where people from Orange County go to Dragrace. I have looked at some of the track pages but can't seem to find much info. So what I'm wondering is:
1. Where is the closest place for me to go?
2. What nights are open? Test and Tune nights and the like.

Thanks for the info. If anyone else has personal experience with anywhere down here that would great. Looks like California Speedway is the best. I'm not a big fan of the 1/8th mile tracks.

They are remodeling the CA Speedway at this moment. Hopefully it comes out to be a good track.

From what I understand they are dumping 1.8 million into the new track which means it should be really nice. Hopefully I will have my car done in time. Only if people pick up my A/T AWD stuff out of the paper. Doesnt seem to be too many AWD A/T Racers out there in the market for parts. Going 5 speed and cant wait, I miss driving a manual and my mighty max doesnt cut it, at least not until I drop a 4g63 in that biotch. I have not raced since December and really want to bad.

We should get a track meet set up for when it opens, get a ton of SoCal DSM's to represent.

I like Cali Speedway but getting 2-3 runs a day kinda sucks. It is fun to watch all the cars that are there though. I usually go to LACR on wednesday and get 10+ runs (if I need that many). It is a long drive for a lot of folks here in SoCal though. It is the opposite way from OC
