I got pulled over yesterday due to my exhaust (too loud, too big..BS!)and i now have to see a state referee. Im trying my best to put everything back to stock and i still need a few parts to replace.

Anyone in the LA county area willing to lend me their stock 450 injectors? My car is currently running on 550 RC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Help a fellow dsmer.

state referee is visual for the most part, so just make sure you take off that huge tach and any gauges/engine dress up that will attract attention. Having 550's in wont really matter if you change everything back to stock...

I'd worry about switching out your exhaust, turbo, changing your FMIC back to SMIC...those are going to be the pain

good luck

aight so i got
T-25
exhaust Manifold
SMIC
UPIC that holds the BOV
450cc

anybody else have things my buddy here can use to pass

A friend already offered. Thanks again

wimploki you recieved my pm right?

Anyways, you don't need to take everything out. Set up an appointment at Chaffey college if you can and stay away from the Rio Hondo loaction. I took my car to Chaffey and the only thing visually that they didn't like was the Greddy BOV and my old nos lines. The guy didn't even care about the front mount or K&n. If you were cited for emission modifications they will put your car on rollers and test it. As long as you're tuned good you should be ok. I passed w/ a 16g, HKS 264/272 cams, 660s, etc. If you were only cited for the loud exhaust you should only be doing the decibel test. Not sure if they do a visual for that only.

The cop made him pop his hood and compared his engine to a 'training manual' with hondas in it apparently..

Thanks for the heads up. Appointment is now set for Chaffey College.:thumb:

550s injectors will not be noticeable. They will look at your intake, down to your exhaust. The only problem they may have is a BOV or a boost controller. If you have a fuel computer (SAFC, MAFT, etc.), hide it.

If youre still on your stock ECU, I hope you pass the functional test.
