I decided to make a thread like the Reno thread where we can all just talk about whatever we want. Lets try to get all the small conversations in other threads into one big one.

I guess ill start does anyone close to the SF valley want to throw a superbowl party? :thumb: I would but my apartment is just too small

Interesting day, the Nitrous shop over here just hired some new guy to help em out with installs and all. Nice young kid........then he said he could help me turbo my N/T eclipse "All we need to do is bolt on the manifold and stuff off a GST man! Easy, i can do it in a few days no problem!"........Those were his exact words......he is now recovering from the shock of learning that there are indeed 2 eclipse motors, and they do not just "Bolt-Up man......"


Ah well. :D
 
LoL damn rookies. I have some good news i just got both my sideskirts and front bumper fixed and repainted. I think i am going to stop by monday and ask him to paint my fog light bezels white to match the car :thumb:
 
speaking of new parts, i just ordered a Big T-28Killer, ported and clipped....muahahahaha that and my new fuel setup, gonna run the 650cc with a walbro 255 with my new S-AFC...hehe, just wait, in about 2 more weeks, translab shift kit, IPT performance rebuild kit, 4000 stall torque converter, i'ma eat you 5spds for lunch at our march meet coming... :D

Hey Rob how much boost do you plan to run without a bigger IC :dsm:

As for me im not sure what to get next its between:

1. a greddy FMIC w/ black mesh to cover it $850

2. Tokico shocks (adjustable) and spring kit $550

3. 18" Racing Hart C5 (black) $1300

I dont really need the rest of the fuel mods (i have a 190lph already) because on a daily basis i run 10PSI to conserve gas and less stress on the internals.

Thats Bottle-Fed out here in Redlands. Actually, the shop and the owner are real nice. He knows his stuff and helps out anyways he can (helped me remount me bottle yesterday!).

Its just this one kid he hired is all. He wants to see me at the track, so he can show me his all-motor Civic that runs 9's in the 1/4 also. Nice kid.....just clueless is all.

Seriously though, i would recomend the shop reguardless to anybody in the area since the owner is a good honest guy.
 
Well since were chattin about new stuff, Im just about to buy some 95-96 talon side skirts that are already OEM black. Its going to make her look a little more aggressive. :thumb: :talon:

I vote for fuel. Your motor will be fine with your evo 16g, some bigger injectors, a SAFC, and 16lbs. It's such efficient boost too you could put off the FMIC. To conserve gas, tune the LTFT & STFT really well.
 
^^^ even if i had more fuel mods i wouldnt run more than 10-12 PSI. I have no reason to run excessive boost when i commute to school and work. I think i am going to go with FMIC because spring/summer is coming around and i dont want my stock SMIC getting heatsoaked in 90*F+ weather, it will only cause early detonation.

On another note,

DOES ANYONE WANT TO BE MY ROOMMATE :D I NEED ONE BY THE END OF FEBURARY :dsm:
 
i'll be upgrading to the Supra sidemount, and if not, then the dejon tool super sidemount....you should get rid of that 190 and just buy a 255 so u dont overstress it, i plan on running my stock bar for now.

BTW, i cancelled my order for the FPBT-28 because i came across a fantastic sale from a fellow DSM'r, check this out, BRAND SPANKING NEW Big T-28Killer ported/clipped for 450shipped.....muahahahaha....its on the way, larry, be ready to do an install this weekend comin up. :D already spoke with John (transdude) and I know what trqe cnvtr i need and my IPT performance rebuild, translab shift kit, all that is gonna give you 5spd a run for your money.... :D be prepared bitches, be prepared.
 
im not going bigger than my e16G so a 190lph is more than enough; im not stressing about fuel mods because i can run 16PSI with the 190lph (called RRE to see whats the highest i can run with just a 190lph). As for your "killer" I FEAR NO T-28 OR AUTOMATIC SO BRING IT ON bi*** :laugh:

since rob is talking about how fast his car is going to be. ill say what im doing .im getting Prothane bushings this weekend . new turbo with bigger injectors and JICs sometime this year before i get my ass into an evo. oh yeah DSMSpyder99 how is the greddy profec spec S?
 
i love it no boost spike but it does dance 15-16 PSI on high boost mode. I think if i cut off the excessive amount of vaccumm hoses it would be rock steady. I can have an extra 6 PSI on a push of a button (L-10PSI/H 16PSI), and it is very simple to use. Overall i am very pleased with it and would reccommend it :dsm:

There is a paint and body shop on the corner of Foothill and Astoria. It is right across the Bank of America. My sister in law got into an accident about a year ago and she brung it to the same place. The paint has held up well on her car, and he is cheap. If you want to see the paint job in person hit me up on my cell anytime after 6:00pm 7328220498 :dsm:

Im lookin to get a full respray, any idea on how much it might be at this place?

So we having a super bowl party anywhere? I would think, maybe my place but i dont really have the funds to be buying a shitload of food for all you gangstas. Also, I would have to ask if its cool with the family as well. Im thinking that some beer and stuff would def. need to be there. :thumb: :talon:
 
well im down if u decided to throw a superbowl party. Ill bring hot dogs, buns, and other crap. This guy is pretty cheap Ill ask him how much it would be to repaint the whole car and pass it on to you guys. I got a NEW (used was the same price from a junk yard) door body piece, both side skirts, and front bumper all repainted and realigned for $400 CASH :dsm:
