I found this on ebay the other day i think it would look good on a stock 2g without the kit... i wonder how hard this would be to do.

Have you ever seen dual exhaust in person??? As far as performance it's pointless but i have to admit it looks good. Nothing i would ever do but i can't knock it.

Here's a pic of one that's not overdone

-Won't the gas tank in the way of the other exhaust on the GSX or the 2G's gas tank in under the rear bench seat?

there is a guy going to college in my town(only 3 talons here) with dual exhaust but his is muffled in the middle and he has a dual tip on the pipes, looks all right, but then again its not the dual fart can type so maybe that doesn't help much
by the way his is a awd 97 or 98
any muffler shop should be able to do this....

Even if you "think" it looks good, its pointless. Just added weight unless you are running a true dual setup which isnt all that easy from a 4cyl.

#1 mismatched colors
#2 edge is jaged bad cut
def photo shop

Why would you do such a stupid thing, we have inline 4's, meaning that our cars are naturally aspirated, what is the point of having two exhausts? You want to add more weight by adding all those pips and the muffler? I think this can be one of the stupidest things to do. :dsm:

I think naturally aspirated means that the engine has no forced inductions. Not that it is a 4cylinder. There are many 6cyl and 8 cyl that are called N/A's. Turbochargers/Superchargers are types of forced inductions and some would even considere N2o to be an FI. These are the things that would take away the N/A title from an engine.

Si, N/A has nothing to do with the number of cylinders. N/A stands for naturally aspirated. Aspirated means something along the line of how it breathes and naturally would mean without any kind of forced induction.

EDIT. Forgot to add, what does it matter if it's photoshopped. I'm pretty sure he was just trying to show how it would look and not bragging about having it.

stock 2g????? what the hell would you go and do that for, thats rice, your not even turbocharged so when people beat you in a race they will laugh at you MORE than they would just siting there parked, ditch the idea because you cant fit a TRUE DUAL exaust on a DSM meaning you have two seperate manifolds, that split into 2 and two pipes that run ALL THE WAY BACK to the mufflers, that first pic, the guy got a y-pipe after the rear diff, and just got two pipes and two mufflers and fitted them to the car, it does NOTHING for performance, infact, i would say it weighs the car down more.

i hate ricers plain and simple :talon: :thumb: :dsm: :thumb: :laser: :dsm: DSM POWER not RICE POWER , because rice HAS NO POWER ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong(new to the DSM) But this is actually just a splitter pipe running to 2 exit pipes. Correct? Or do they actually have TRUE dual exhasut on these tiny engine, meaning 2 pipes running all the way to the DUAL exhaust manifolds?
I agree with whoever said "Leave the dual exhaust to the cars that can actually use it. Z's, Firebirds, REAL Muscle cars. Looks kind of like a penis envy thing.
