I have 18x7.5 enkei zenkei(not sure of offset, think its 43) What size tire could i run without rubbing? I had 235/40/18 on there, and they got tore up on the control arm. Any help is appreciated

Need to know how low you set your coilovers at the really tell ya. But thats sorta wide in my opinion, i would say stock to MAYBE 225 max would be okay. But i think the 235 and maybe being to low are your main issues since you have the cambers (and hopefully toe) taken care of. So, as a final note, try the cheap alternative first (raise the car a little), then go from there (not as wide of a tire).

i thought the control arm would stay relative to teh wheel regardless of drop?

not necessarily, my friend's Neon R/T has coilovers and when he puts people in the back (lower's car) , the wheel rubs on the control arm.

Same thing happens with my GST and I actually ate a tire on the way back from the track one night. The problem now, is if I correct the camber the tire will instead rub the fender lip which is pretty sharp and nasty, I guess just no more back seat passengers. BTW I'm running 225/40/18s on an 18x7.5" rim w/ no problem as long as nobody is in the back seat.
