This thing is off a JDM car or something.

It was wrapped in asian language newspaper.

It has a single vaccum port. The P marked port. There are markings for the other ports but they are not drilled.

The TPS mount is the same it came with a 1g style TPS sensor on it.

It also has a 1g style combination switch/ throttle closed stop.

The ISC motor has the same connector as a 2g.

Its got all plastic body.

I checked it against my 2g ISC. I discovered that one of the coils on the 2g one was a little weak.

I also discovered that the resistance across the other ISC was a bit higher than the spec for a 2g ISC. All terminals on the ISC from the bigger TB scope at 40 ohms +/- very little between them.

I tested it with a 6v power source courtesy a lab grade variable DC power supply and it functions perfectly.

The 2g ISC moves a little weak on one of the coils since it is starting to go out.

For the heck of it I exposed the o-ring from the 2g TB to carb cleaner by spraying a little in the back passage of the TB and letting it evaporate.

I did this to show what happens when that stuff goes where you don't want it.

I pulled the ISC and compared the rings.

They were both the same size in the beginning. Look what the carb cleaner did to the o-ring that was exposed to it.

Oh.... in all pics except for the o-ring picks the 60mm TB or the ISC from it is on the right.

With all that said, illustrated and out of the way the current issue at hand is how to come up with replacement vaccum signals for the lines which go on ports E ans A which are non existent on the bigger TB.

On the 2G TB
I have traced the E port to a hole on the elbow side of the TB along the perimiter of the bore facing out.

The A port connects to a hole in the bore of the TB behind the butterfly.

The P port is also connected to a hole in the bore behind the butterfly right next to the other holw but drilled larger.

On the bigger TB (JDM Galant?)

The single port marked P connects to a hole in the bore but it is on the other side of the butterfly and smaller diameter. In fact the same diameter as the 2g's hole for the A-port.

So the questions are.

1. will routing the line for the P port to the p port on this TB work the same despite the size and location of where it comes out.

2. What should I do to make replacement connections for the A and E ports.

I can put a port in the TB elbow for E the same size as the passage in the 2g TB. That should work.

The A port replacement is a ? right now.

While I can't easily move the hole for the P port to the back side of the butterfly I can drill it to match the one in the 2g TB. The smaller size may not hurt anything.

I forgot to include something.

I have to maintain the PC devices as locally even pulling EGR gets you harrassed. So I just can't pull the EGR and VPC lines out. They have to function.

I also forgot to specify which o ring was which.

The big one is the carb cleaner exposed one. It got gummy and grew.
