I will be installing my new PTE 50 trim this weekend and need to block my water lines. If anyone else has done this please post up what you did--and if you have the correct sizes and parts sources that would be extremely helpfull!

thank you

Mark

just loop them. The one from the oil filter housing goes to the thermostat housing and the one from the block goes to the lower one at the thermostat housing. 3/8 heater hose.

Just like 44pirate said, just loop from one to the other. If you remove all the water lines with your turbo you will just end up with the one from the water pipe on the front of the moter to the one that goes into the block. Just leave the rest of it hooked up as it is.

I left all the lines attached to the turbo and undid them from the block where ever they happened to be hooked up so that everything came off with the turbo. This way you will only have to loop one hose.

If you have a 2g, you will want to find a NPT style plug instead of looping it. When I installed my PTE 50trim the housing was hitting the original banjo bolt on the block. I tried just grinding down the banjo bolt, but it still was rubbing making it a PITA to fit the turbo correctly. The best way is to just plug it up.
