I've been searching through the forums all morning and read all the posts concerning these turbos and this is what I've concluded. Basically they are all comparable to the small 16G and sacrifice top end for quicker spool rates. Here are my questions.

1) The FP is a T28 wheel in a T25 housing if I'm not mistaken and the AGP version is also very similar. What is the Turbochargers makeup? Is it just a glorified T28? or the same T25/28 combo? BTW I'm talking about their low end one, not the killer. It seems that the reman are the 25/28 combos and the new ones are straight T28.

2) Most people have roughly estimated the FP at ~530 cfms, what about the other two. What's the stock T25 cfms?

3) Can some one plz decode? Turbochargers, "Reman T28 and Big T28 use stage 2 T28 turbine wheels with –7 or -5 compressor wheels."

The reason I ask is b/c these three (excluding Turbochargers BigT28 Killer) are all in the same price range and theres a lot of hype about them due to the bolt on nature to the 2Gs. With prices ranging from $600, to $650, to $750 with swaps, is it worth it compared to a $800-900 Big 16G setup?

The small 16g flows 505 cfms. Big 16g flows 550 cfms. I think the T-25 flows around 300 cfms at most. The old T28/28 flows 510 cfms. FP won't release any cfms on there Big28, but if you go over to DSMTALK.COM and click on there racing forums and go to the times list with upgraded turbos you will see just how close the Big28 is to the Big 16g in performance, and the Big28 just came out less than a year ago toboot. I have had my FP ported Big28 for about 8 months now and I can honestly say that I have hurt alot of peoples feelings on the streets with this turbo. Stangs, ls1's, c5's you get the picture.

im puting on my Agp T28 on tomorrow and ill let you know how the turbo works out but from what i heard it will be puting a hurting on vets and with the right set up and race gas put a viper down ???? but thats just from what someone said

I'll fill you in =) later

I called Turbochargers.com to inquire about the BigT28 Killer because I was interested myself and I found out that it's basically a T28 with a Big 16G compressor. THere is another thread about a dood that got it and was very pleased. I am having the same dilemma, Big16G or AGPT28/BigT28 Killer. I've come up with these positives and negatives..

AGPT28:
Pro-
1)Direct Bolt on
2)Quick Spool
3)Price - 750.00 w/ good core
Con
1)Less power than Big16G and T28Killer
2)Hybrid

BigT28 Killer
Pro-
1)Direct Bolt on
2)Quick Spool
3)More Power than T28 (16G compressor wheel)
4)Price ~750.00
Con-
1)More hybrid than AGPT28

Big16G
Pro-
1)1 year warranty from Slowboy Racing
2)Most power compared to other two
3)100% Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
Con-
1)Requires kit w/ 2g
2)Price 650~ + 200 kit
3)If you are all thumbs under a car like me, it's a tad more difficult to install...

That's my analysis so far.. Anything you boyz wanna add or correct, be my guest...

where did you hear that the bigt28 killer outflows the agp?? Just curious. Where in buffalo do you live??

I'd like to know that too. Both rated at 36lb/min and the T28 is more efficient. And the AGP T28 ian't no $750 exchange. AND all my turbos have a 1yr. warranty And my T28 is 100% Garrett parts, not a hybrid.

Woops.. OMG I guess you would have the final say.. In all honesty, when writing that post, your site was down so I made a guestimate so don't be too harsh.. BTW, still is at the moment if you didn't already know...

Less power than Big16G and T28Killer <~~~ is that true about the Agp T28 ?? kevin ?

You guys all need to seriously call the vendors of your possible turbo choices. This whole thread is filled with rumors and mis-information. Make sure everyone has the facts straight about a turbo before posting so in the future other people who read this do not get the wrong idea.
