was just lookin at these and wonderin if there worth it or not, i found a great price on them. the drop is about 1.5 inches.

I have the Illuminas on my 2G and they are a decent shock. Car handles better. I have them on full stiff on stock springs and the ride is a little bumpy, but worth it for the twisties. They do not drop the car 1.5 inches though.

For a little more money, Id get Koni. They do pretty good especially with the adjustmets. It really helps. I adjust it soft front, hard back for drag. Hard front and back for better handling. Im not sure if Illuminas provide the same.

I would assume he means that his car is dropped 1.5".

I have the Illuminas on my 2G, they are a nice shock. I don't drag, but they work good on the corners. I run on setting 3 f/r. But then again I have them on the Ground Control coil-overs with the full Energy Suspension kit poly kit.

My friend and GF run them along with Pro-Kits and they are much nicer than stock. Well worth it!

I have the Tokico ILK setup which is their progressive springs & their illumina shocks. Personally for the money I think their amazing and would defently buy this setup again.

They are a good shock. However, if I could do it again, I would spend just a little more and go for Konis.

I have the Tokicos Illuminas on my eclipse, and Koni Yellows on my supra. To me they are equal in performance. I'd like to ask the gentlemen who posted above their thoughts as to why one is better than the other as both are individually adjustable. Please understand this is in no way a dig, but rather an attempt to learn more about my setup(s).

I just got a 95 gsx and was considering doing the kit gsthavoc is reffering too. It combines the Illumina shocks with tokico springs that lower the car 1.5in.
Anyway, I had Illuminas on an Integra and it was nice, but be sure you are going to use the different settings. If you want a nice street setup, my friend has Tokico HP's with goldline springs on his tsi and they handle great...but it's a bit bumpy.

I have the tokicos illuminas on h&r oe sport and for daily, anything past 2 is harsh! I leave mine at 2 for daily. I bump it up if I race, whatever...

do you have a decent amount of clearence with them springs ? i have the full tokico kit and hate it. i tuck up front with stock wheels. i want a tad bit lower then stock due to wheel gap. so its either hr oe's , or cut some stockers.

For the price, can't beat them. I like mine, no complaints!
