Well, the mechanic has had the Talon for 2 weeks now. Went by his place today, wasn't there, called him and told me it'll be done by early tonight or by tomorrow lunch time. Starting to get verry irritated.

hahaha hell the shop I go to had my car for like 6 months one time because my car kept being put on the back burner

My 1st GST spent 3 months down while it was being built years ago.. AND that was a rushed build. LOL

Yeah, I got stuck in the long line at the machine shop :(

That happens... and if you are wanting something special done, then it takes longer.. the easy/quick/common work gets done first.

Trans took a dump. Luckily only about 200ft from my driveway. Had a local mechanic take on the work of pulling the trans and fixing what was wrong on the inside which I was told was some sychros, and some other stuff. Then he kept on doing the "tomorrow, I promise" thing. Then that arm thingy on the right side of the clutch/brake pedal assembly snapped due to the previous owner doing a half a$$ weld job on it. The day I was supposed to pick it up something in the steering column supposedly broke. Then he said that he needs the money and cannot go along with our original payment agreement. So I was able to dig up the remaining amount and I am hoping that'll motivate him to go ahead and finish the dang job.
