Anybody know this car?

I do not, but it looks like the timing belt is rubbing the oil pan bolt under the pulley.

IDK that car, but $3,800 looks like way too much for a car THAT old with THAT many problems WTF

I could understand if it had fresh glossy paint, new breaks and tires, and the only thing wrong with it was no AC.... but thats not the case. the seller is asking for way too much.

I'd have to say I'd pass on it too :nono:

Agreed, to all the statements above. But since I live down in these neck of the south woods, I would like to have a Canadian Version, just to be unique!

Story goes,
Previous owner bought the car, swapped in a jdm motorset from canada.....
Blew the head gasket, car sat for 2 years or so.

New owner bought and
rebuilt with 2g pistons, arp studs, ETC ETC....

3800 is what he said he would want after it was all fixed. He has the transfer case parts on order. Was looking into the tach issue since the cluster was apperently swapped with the engine.

Said he would sell it to me for 2k....

Also, purple paint is like a satin...
Car was orignially dark blue it seems...

I have an app on my phone that lets me search any group of CL areas at once. I have every CL city/area within about 4 hours of me.. searching about 5 times a day..

I do not, but it looks like the timing belt is rubbing the oil pan bolt under the pulley.

how can you tell??? i just had someone tell me the same thing about my timing belt...

Honestly, i wouldnt feel like messing with the A/C and other issues that a car that has sat would have.

I came across a BONE stock well maintained 1ga talon i could probably get for 3k
grey leather, 180k miles...

Waiting is kind of hard,
I had to sell my mr2 a w hile back and my DD blew up.. -_-.

I'm trying to find a car to fill that void.

Well, you can either buy this car and regret your decision for everything you're going to have to repair...

Or you can wait and find the nicer one for cheaper.

While waiting you can find another DD and rebuild funds.
