0ctober 6, 2007 Mid Mo Columbia meet

Please keep this thread devoid of specific car talk. Utilize this thread for information concerning this meet.

We have reserved a new shelter for this meet. Hopefully it will suit our needs better. The meet will take place October 6th at 12:00 pm at the Twin Lakes Rec Facility (directions to follow soon). Food format will be the same as last year. please bring a dish. Please post here what you will be bringing to avoid 30 bags of potato chips. Be creative or at least buy creative. I will provide the meat. I will update the food list as I know.

This meet is primarily a DSM meet. However, we do not want "looptards" to attend. (Columbia people know what those species are ) As the event looms closer more details will materialize. As for now the date, time and place are set.

We look forward to this every year. It is a lot of fun and seems to have evolved into quite the annual event. I think this is number 7 ( I could be wrong)

This is our meet not mine. Any help would be appreciated. Any serious ideas would be helpful. I will be buying the meat again. This meet is open to all, but stupidity. We will need to police this thing.....no booze or drugs or reckless driving in the park.

I went to a subaru meet a way back and I brought a cake that had a picture of a sti and an evo jumping off a big hill, so if you guys get me a kick ass dsm picture I'll put it on a cake and bring it up there.

Edit: Sh!t, I just realized I got drill that weekend. What are the chances of it getting moved to the second weekend?

The shelter has already been reserved and paid for and this has been posted on multiple sites, people have already taken off work, etc so not very good. Sorry Abe.

Completely understandable. I guess i'm going to have to tell them I can't make it in that day... Besides, the Army can't miss me that much for one day.

I don't think so this time Stu... I didn't even make it after that either. 42 hours straight is too long to work on a DSM. I did some serious time traveling for about 12 hours after that one.

yes probably...i transferred to MU so ill be around town a lot

Bryce - there should be at least 20. A regular sized sheet cake should be fine. We always end up with extra food

Maybe they're all broken. You know, we are talking about DSM's, . A couple of people from missourimitsu.com said they were going. Do you know if Derrin got his car running right? I mean it runs and all, but he said that at one point he was running 20 psi on his 420A and now it only runs 2 psi? Right... So, is there going to be a curise and "hangout" after the meet.

i say we take a cruise down I70 and have a big dsm pile up, make sure to tell everyone to have a FULL 5 gallon gas can in the trunk...i want all the dsm's to burn and move on with my life
