So, I took my car into my local dealer to get it checked out on why my back wheels were locking up. After I replaced the transfer case because it failed, the rear wheels still locked up on a test drive after about 2.5 turns. They disconnected the driveline from the rear to check and make sure the rear diff. wasn't the problem. It wasn't. Then they raised all four wheels and turned them. The front turned 3.25 and the rear 2.5.
At this point they're trying to tell me that my transmission is wrong. I just did the JDM swap and used a US 6 bolt tranny. The car ran fine for about 2k miles except for the occasional hard to get into gear shift when stopped. Basically, my question is... is it really the tranny being incompatible or is another part broken that I should look for? Is there any way to cross-reference part numbers online?
Thanks - Andrew
