I just got finished making a custom piece for my FMIC that would 1) cover up the nasty gap between the bumper and FMIC and 2) to bring a little more air to the fmic that Im loosing being it sits a bit high. With lowering the FMIC not an option (my dad doesnt want me to cut any more of the radiator support for the short-route piping to go lower), we opted to make a cool looking plate to keep it from looking to out of the norm.
Im trying to decipher wether I should polish it or paint it black. Its not actually mounted yet the pics were taken with it just taped to the bottom of my FMIC. Im mounting it with 3M adhesive. Tell me what you think. Hope this is the right section to post this in....didnt know where else to put it.
**EDIT- NEW PICS AT THE BOTTOM! Cleaned the car and mounted the piece to the FMIC. Its sturdy as ever...its not going anywhere...its now apart of the FMIC

Now all you have to do is fab up pieces for the other three sides and you should be golden. (Oh yeah, and then you might want to consider doing something about lowering you coolant temps.)
