Leave the exhaust manifold, turbo, intake manifold on. Remove all teh lines and the wiring harness of course. If you have a hoist this will be easy. If you don't take the hood off and you and your friend stand on the car over the bay and grab an end and pick the whole assembly up... If you dont have a friend (like me ), then take the turbo and exhaust manifold off together ans then the head and intake. It's still rather heavy. . .

since the the valves are most likely bent, just disconnect all the wires to the sensors and injectors, throttle cable, all vacuum lines, and upper ic pipe.

Unhook all the lines going to the thermostat housing.

Unbolt the intake manifold from the bracket under it, leave the intake manifold bolted to the head.

You can either unbolt the ex manifold from the head, or unbolt the turbo from the manifold. Personally, i would unbolt the man from head so you dont have to disconnect all the oil and coolant lines from the turbo.

Pop off the valve cover and unbolt the head studs. Once those are out, lift the head up and out.

That is pretty much it.

Head removal isn't that bad. Just unbolting stuff, and using a rubber mallet and a prybar (NOT on head mating surface) to separate the head from the headgasket and block.
