Stratford,
I am doing some work to my car this year before I put it back on the road. I have my current mods listed in my profile. Below I have a list of the parts that I think I would like to put on this year and would like some feedback on the parts and if anything should be changed for the car can run better.

  • T3/T04E Turbonetics 50 Trim with Mitsubishi Exhaust Housing
  • FIC 850cc Injectors
  • GM MAF-T
  • 3" GM MAF
  • FMIC

you should probably go with a new BOV as apposed to the 1st gen. I know they can hold a lot and I don't know how much boost your planning on running but with a 50 trim i would think you should upgrade to a better unit.

You might want to consider an intake manifold. Also water injection, depending on if you race it and how effective your FMIC is.

But that setup should kick ass.

My 1G BOV held 27lbs fine because it was crushed. That was when I was runnin a Green (50 trim). The IM is fine but if you must, at the most, go with a 1G. A bigger turbo will fully utilize an upgraded aftermarket IM. Just my personal first hand experience.

I take it you mean a head gasket with the head studs or exhaust? I only plan on boosting 19psi until I get my 6 bolt built. How far can I boost my stock head gasket?
Just head studs and head gasket. Around 23psi, generally.
also to tune the 850cc I am only going to be using the gm maft and a safc
S-AFCs are pretty much useless for injectors above 720cc. Although that is overkill for 19psi. You could get away with EVO 8 injectors + AFPR at that boost level. Heck, you don't even need the studs or gasket. I doubt you'll be able to use the oil feed line but I'm not 100% on that one.

Depends on the tune. a bad tune can lift a head in no time.
With a perfect tune ive heard of a stock head gasket and studs go into the 30 psi range before lifting... Now im not saying to try this, but its been done.

I'd love to see this.
