Thanks for all the help you guys have offered. Very smart and healthy forum. I just got turned down for the loan I was gonna get to buy the RS MODEL car. So now that I can't even afford the RS I am quitting. It would take me 11 years to buy this car so I wont try anymore. Ill go buy a 1984 Civic and not do anyhting at all to it. Thanks for all or help. I tried.

Dont give up man. Just because you cant afford one now, doesnt mean you will never be able to get one. You seem young. Get a job, save your money and try again in a little bit. Stay here on the boards and learn as much as you can. Once you save some money, perhaps you could even afford a little nicer model.

Exactly. Get the beater Honda, get a second job, then save some extra cash. $1500-2000 should get you a nice, 1G AWD model with some TLC required. Then you're in business and nothing can stop you.

dont give up after jsut that. i got turned down for a loan a couple months ago and even since then conditions have improved. im building my credit, saving money and keeping a steady job (two reaosns i was turned down- no credit and not at my job long enough even though ive been there 4 months and im like 4th in seniority not including the manager). don't let it completely dissuade you, just keep plugging away.
