I just dynoed my car (Luigi) yesterday, sadly Luigi didnt do as well as i thought. When he is hardcore i refer to him as "The Wege", maybe i should get my screename changed to that.

Please help me look, this is without any engine fuel management at all, 142k on the motor, relevant power mods are as below.

Johnny Racecar Big Core FMIC
Greddy B.O.V.
Hard intake pipe
K & N air filter
NGK Ignition wires
MBC
South bend Clutch DXD rally clutch
Bosal 3' SS catback exhaust
t-28 killer turbocharger
ported evo 3 exhaust manifold
walbro 190lph fuel pump
3" high flow catalytic converter
3" downpipe (no neckdowns in exhaust system)

I want to have 250 awhp, i fell a little short. Help me out, i dont even know how to really read the air ratio part of the graph.

1st run is on 16 pounds of boost, second is on 18 pounds of boost

get yourself some injectors(550cc at least), a logger, and atleast a AFC to tune with. You can get well past 250 with that setup.

Where did you go to get it dynoed?

the new awd dyno off of birdneck, only cost me 50 bucks yesterday for three pulls, its 90 on a regular day though, it was a special for their opening. I forgot the name of the place but the number is 757-493-3555

I FOUND CRAZY boost leaks today when i checked the system, wont even hold 10 psi.

damn I missed that wish my car worked. I did mine last month at dyno tuned over in Chesapeake.

So regular price for three pulls is $90. Does that include tuning?

um actually it may be a little less you have fwd, and i didnt ask but i assume that is without tuning, but they are helpful and if you know what you are doing you can tune it they will certainly help.

Dynos should be used as a tunoing device, and to campare the cars before after mod effects etc. ALl dynos read different so its apples and oranges really

well my numbers look weak compared to some other dynos. :notgood:

oh well, at least i we have an awd dyno within 300 miles now so i can get some tuning in to make my car quicker.:thumb:

If you were having boost leaks bad enough not to even hold 10psi I would imagine your already past your goal with your current set up once you get all the little kinks worked out.

yeah, but im having a hard time locating some of them around the intake manifold area.

Your A/F ratio was in the crapper from those boost leaks. Get those fixed and then have at it again. You want to tune for around 11-11:5:1 A/F on pump and around 12:1 on race gas depending on the condition of the motor and adequacy of the fuel supply.

There's definitely more in it.

Give it more feul, get some bigger injectors and a AFC

I dont understand why you havent done that yet, your just handicaping your car right now....

You guys should be able to look at that A:F and see thats untuned. For a minute there, you are really really running way too lean.

Where do you see it being way to lean?

I thought i was running rich the whole time, is that not the case?

You're starting out really lean and moving into really rich. It looks like you may be idling at around 15:1 A/F and you drop down to 10:1.

15:1 wont really hurt your car because most cars run around 14.7:1...but you arent getting to power you could be getting.
