I've been waiting for over a year now. I wouldn't hold my breath though. They posted something a few weeks ago with a similar type message, but it's still not up.

Then again, if it does come back up, I'd be one happy SOB.

Ya, being down for so long, I wonder if it will even bear any resemblance to the old Trader. Not that it was that impressive and couldnt have used alot of work

i dont understand why people are so happy. all it was fully of were scam artists....

hopefully they have some control over it this time...

I never used trader to buy things over the internet, like said above it was full of scammers, I would just rather not take the chance.

But on the other hand, trader was a great place to find dsms for sale in my area. That I could actually go see in person.

The whole point of taking the trader down was to come up with a system that would keep scamming to a minimum.

I bought a lot of stuff from the trader and never got scammed. I check out as much info as possible and did all my homework. Go figure.

trader worked really well for selling items and buying cars.

trader sucked for buying used parts. i know you had a good experience but if someone really wanted to scam you they could. it sucks because these people dont give a crap abou there pay pal accounts and pay pal cant do anything about it....

Yeah, my friend had a bad experience with trader.

He was as cautious as possible but the guy really got him. He was buying a bov off someone, everything went well, the guy even shipped something to him so he got a fedex tracking number with the correct weight. When it got to my friends foor, it ended up being a door handle from a house. I couldnt help but laugh.

Never used it and, judging by everyone's reports of the place, never will.

But anyways, I've always been fine on DSMTrader. It'd be nice to have it back.

i loved dsmtuner for selling parts, but buying parts.. i was very weary. I hope they have a better way of doing things. Some parst that i would show interest in, id ask for a full address,name, and phone number, and right away they would say "oh nevermind someone local is coming to buy it"... obvious scammers.

Well I hate dsmtrader because I have been scammed there. Its full of scammers! Thats why I like the classified here, most everyone is legit.

I'm with you man. Same here. I've bought and sold cars worth of parts and I had one bad experiance but it wasn't a scam and it was resolved.

I dont see whay it was taken down for "scamming".It's not the sites problem to deal with people who cant see why they get a letter from zimbabwe and the check inside is a cashiers check from viginia,is a scam.And paypal can do something about these tards,they just choose not to.They have access to bank accounts and credit cards,they can do whatever they want.Just remember,a cashiers check is the same as a check,it still has to clear.It's not cash.
