E-01 boost control

i do not have the exhuast system or any of the aftermarket fuel part on yet. And i am waiting for the DSMLINK and E-01 to come in the mail. So far i have noticed a large amount of boost lag. i get about 14PSI at 5k RPM's but that is expected especialy cuzz its not tuned yet.

So you just slapped on a shopping list of parts and want us to tell you how much it will make?

hmmmmmm....

Well I can tell you that your lag problem is probably due to three things:

-Base timing too advanced

-Huge exhaust leak

-Internal wastegate rod mis-adjusted.

other then that, whats the goal you have set for yourself? (HP, what you will do with the car)

He's right.

Don't forget to rewire our fuel pump, get a bigger fuel pump walbro 255 lhp, and afpr.

Prepare to get ripped for using "U" instead of the proper "YOU"

Stay boostin

LOL aight U was shorter. :thumb:

My personal goal was about 450 HP. Right now my Base timing is at 9deg. Has good responce at that deg. But the turbo lag is do to the turbo being so big. And the car vibrates like hell LOL. o i got the walbro 255 lhp and a FPR.

5k sounds crappy but anyways i would do a boost leak test, i always do after any job that has me pulling an i/c pipe, i pride myself in having 20+ psi at 3000 rpm with a 16g though.

Seriously man, flagrant misspellings can get you in trouble even a thread locked. It's a new effort to make the forums more comprehensible, just take the time to write it out next time.

Here are some older pics of my engine.

How about a non cruise throttle cable to clean up that engine bay? It looks clean. What front mount are you running?

just an off brand front mount that i got off ebay. its a bar plate intercooler

Perhaps a ColdAirIntake. I run a Holset with a 4" intake pipe that has my K&N where the stock sidemount once was. Cooler air is better and even though I have AWD I do not go 4-wheeling so hydrolock is NOT a concern. Mark
