Did a Full engine(Rebuilt with 8.5:1piston) swap along with an manual swap(my car was auto).

Engine swap:

Old motor out

Now up to the Manual swap:

Donor car getting ready to be stripped out from its drive train and all the stuff I need

Engine bay stripped out, engine/tranny/axles/clutch lines, etc

First step , getting the manual pedal installed, pain in the ass, working on your back for 2 hours.

Finally , the pedal are installed

Time to swap the trannys, look and the size difference, and man the Auto tranny must weight like 100 pound more

New ACT pressure plate, Clutch disc installed

All in all the tranny swap took me about 20 hours to do and wasent that bad to do , will see what it runs next years, hoping [email protected]

i pretty much did the same thing but in my car i noticed that the manual shift linkage kind of runs on top of the ecu. is the ecu in an auto in a different spot than in the manuals? is the linkage suppose to run on top of the ecu? if not where should it be?
 
As far as the linkage goes , I passed mine under the ECU and through the firewall. Had to remove the TCU (tranny ECU) so i can pass the linkage and drill the shifter cable hole in the firewall
