actually it doesnt look too bad....definitely and a+ for originality and creativity..kind of an odd chain, evo bumper fitted to an escort now on a laser. if those were mass produced i'd possibly get one for my igb eclipse (if i were getting a kit for it)

Good job on making the Evo Escort Laser bumper work. No easy task I'm sure.

#1: The front bumper does not even line up with the fender.

#2:Okay, you said stock DSM's look like shit? Then why own one? What's the point. Why buy a vehicle that YOU think looks like "Shit" and make it look even worse? I just don't get it. Buy something you like in the first place, rather than drastically changing it.

i wont say anything about the bumpers, since everyone else has already beat me to it, but i will say that the paint job is gross . looks like you went through a "The Fast and the Furious" Pay -n- Spray.

maybe if the car was painted all one color, and a different one at that, it might look decent.

mine is black, actually i just had the whole car repainted, black with purple pearl in the clear. it looks good but i havent had time to take pics and post them yet, hopefully ill get a chance this weekend.

but yes black looks good on almost every car.

I personally thought the 1g looked like shit before I bought one but it has grow on me. I bought it for the cheap performance. If I was going for a good looking car, I would have bought the 2g.

Personally, I don't care for the style because I think 1Gs look great lowered a little bit with some 17s and that it. The paint looks pretty bad. The frot bumper although it's creative doesn't look right, and the rear bumper doesn't match.

The stock wheels off of the 2gb GS-T however look creat!

So just to make sure I got this right, it's an Evo style bumper for an escort? It's definitely a new idea for the 1g, so you get credit for that. Personally I don't like the looks of it, but it's not my car. Gloss black 1gs look extremely sweet, ditch the FnF paint job, make that bumper match up with the fender, paint it and then take a lot of new pics! Can't wait to see your progress with this one, Good luck.

Give the guy some slack. I put the biggest wing on my 1g and learned my own lesson. It was a rather nice park bench for the ladies though!

I am more than willing to work with fiberglass to adapt a bumper,but I sure as hell am not going to make one from scratch.
All the kits I have seen for the 1Ga, I like 2. And one of those is starting to become very hard to find. You have to get it for the 1Gb and cut and paste shit.

i give you props on making it work man! but the paint makes me and at the same time

i agree with everyone...nice work on making it actually fit and look right...yea..who cares what other people think...people may say stuff about it but who cares...you drive it and you like it so thats all that matters...hell i dont like some conversions and dont see why some people do it...but if they like it hey...they have to look at it everyday i dont...i dont think yours looks that bad at all..i think it actually looks pretty nice....better than the stock bumper...IMO.

horrible front fascia, doesnt even wrap around enough so theres a lip on the front fenders.
2g rims on 1g=

if youre gonna do a kit, do it right and learn how to fiberglass and dont half ass shit. you couldve made that kit fit right if you had some skills and extended the bumper a inch. even then its still a misplaced look.

IMO the only kit that looks remotely decent on a 1g is the Drift, but even thats pushing it.

its a 1g. lower it, some nice rims, nice paint and leave it at that. if you wanna body kit, flashy paint and 20's buy a honduh(or a 2g n/t). quit wasting perfectly good 1g's for your "i wanna be unique and stand out" mentality.
