I have some pics of the tube I made to clear the PS pump. I do know what your talking about - it's a tight squeeze. I'll get pics by tomorrow.
It is tight
thanks

Do you mean the Tial 38mm WG mounting on the #1 runner on the SBR exhaust manifold or 02 mountZ? I'm in the process of putting everything in and just put in the SBR manifold today, but mine is o2 mount routed back to the exhaust. I can get pictures of it if you want to see.

that would be great, thanks. i do have external dump on my internal wastegate and now i was going to weld external wastegate together into one pipe and run to left side of my front bumper and make hole into the bumper. I know it sounds crazy but i think it would be interesting :rocks:

What are you gus using to weld the cast iron manifolds?
Nothing...just cost me $380 from Extremepsi for the VP o2 housing external routed back into exhaust.

Wait a sec. Are you running an external wastegate on the manifold? Or and external gate on the O2 housing?

SBR charges like $70 for the service. The tricky part is getting the metals to expand and contract during the welding and cooling off process. I believe they are "baked" before the welding and then slowly cooled down in an oven after. Not 100% sure though. Either way, SBR welded mine for me and it was one of the best welds I've ever seen. Here's Pics.

I run an external dump tube outside of my driver sider bumper...it sounds and looks mean..but word of advice....make some kind of metal plate to surround the hole.....i didnt do it,and now have a nice burn mark on the outside of my bumper from where the flames were hittin it

let me guess do you have the ssautochrome mainfold. they put the wastegate flange at the wrong angle so it is impossible to run the tial wastegate with it, what you have to do is reangle the flange to like 20 degrees closer to the radiator to make it fit.

no. its SBR cast manifold with welded flange for external wastegate.

OK, here's some pics. The first 2 are with the pipe taped together. We wanted to test fit it before we welded it together.
I started with a mild steel 1.5" j-bend made by Hooker. I made a few cuts and welds and voila...... Ohh, and I wrapped it in header wrap, just in ase you're wondering why it's black.
