Seems like last saturday was a bit confusing for some of us that tried to make it. So let's come up with a better place to meet other than the Southcenter Mall parking lot. Myself and White97 found a big enough parking lot right across the street from the Wendy's near the Red Robin. It's should make the perfect spot because it's wide open and easily spotable. Since some of us couldn't make it on the 12th, let's shoot for the 19th. any other suggestions should be posted as far as times, better places, and/or dates...Let's get the ball rollin!!

by the way, there were 2 other dsms there (total of 3) but i can't remember their id's but it was nice meeting you guys.

The 19th should work for me, but White97 has his anniversary on the same weekend... So I seriously doubt he'll be able to make it with his 420A turbo. That parking lot that we found should be a really good spot to meet at, I just hope that more people show up this time...

do it the following weekend as i will be in hawaii. if you are serious about getting people together, you should post this on posdsm.com it's mostly local guys.

Well, there wasn't much confusion. We all got there around 12:50. And stayed until 1:45 or so when we got asked to leave. There was a total of 4 2g's 1 vr4 galant and one 1g. We stopped by there again but no one there. So we all drove off to a diff parking lot. Here are some pics!

I guess that would explain why we couldnt find you, we got there right around like 2 i think. BUt yeah the 19th isnt so good for me because of the whole anniversary thing... but the weekend after that works! lets just hope my car keeps running right. I need to get that thing dyno tuned!

Damn, well that sucks hard... Me, White97, and White GST were all held up trying to get White GST's radiator to stop leaking and trying to figure out why White97's turbo was stuttering... so yeah, the 3 of us didn't get up there until about 2:15 or so, and we saw a different guy looking around also... so the 4 of us got stuck alone... oh well, but I do say that Saturday the 26th will work for me...

I told the story to one of my 240 friends, and he laughed and said that it's common knowledge Southcenter has no tolerance for car meets in their parking lot. Wherever we meet next time, make sure there's no bored security around with nothing better to do than hassle us It was still fun meeting new people though, and a really nice day for a meet. A short cruise on some fun roads after would also be good next time.

so the 19th doesn't work for some but the 26th is bad for me cause i'll be in canada....so what other dates and places can we come up with? i was thinking Pont Defiance cause i was there today and theres PLENTY of places to meet and take pics...since the 19th and 26th aren't good dates, should we shoot for the April 2nd?

Im for the 2nd. By then i should have my fuel system a little better tuned. me and my 5 lbs . damn high comp!

Orginization is key.

I love these little (closer) meets but its hardly worth the trip if its less than 10 DSMs.

However- I see some nice cars I have never seen in person here.

My vote is for us going to a park! that way we can stay there longer without getting asked to leave..

i've been in this state and have dealt with stupid drivers, and now things have caught up to me...i won't be makin the trip cause the car will be in the shop for repairs within the next month....might as well count me out of the HHR also...let's just say young kids shouldn't drive trucks that could house a family...not to mention, doors are meant for slamming, not brakes...

i think we're trying for a different area...i suggest Pont Defiance, but i've heard no other suggestions...i won't be driving my car, but i'll be with my friend in his 2g gs with the gsx wing...so the 2nd seems to be the exact date, but now all's we need are a time and place...

i've been trying to get this one set in stone, but i think more peeps are going to the one the weekend (9th) after...so i think this one is pretty much dead...what we should do is try to plan ahead for july's HIN that would be awesome...a couple of meets between now and then with fellow dsms, burus, evos, the whole 9!! why not get a new thread going?

Yeah, if we get something going and everyone is ready for it and on time we should be able to get a good turn out. Last meet i posted for the 12th wasnt bad. not to be an @$$, but this thread was started on the march 13...maybe you should double check the entire thread cause this was way beyond a weeks notice...another meet was posted for the 9th so that one became a bit more popular than this one....also, i stated that this try is dead and another should be made in reference to going to July's HIN with a few meets in between to make and cement plans
