lookin for 9s country, Nevada
im throwing the 2.4 im building along with a built th-350 ala buschur racing, to run some truly wicked times. this car is super rare but not really worth anything. its a 1973 dodge colt built by mitsu. its got a 4g32 motor in it and guess what? any 4g3 series motor bolts right up!! i was shitting my pants when i found that out. the car only weighs about 2100 lbs. i have everything i need to convert it over except a fuel system. the thing should kick ass. oh yeah i picked it up running for $250 from the original owner!! best of both worlds here i come

hotness! i've got a 90 colt hatchback that was my first car, it's been garaged for a few years but i'd love to swap the 4g63 in it. the car weighs next to nothing and from what i hear, the swap is pretty straightforward. you might want to pm coltboosin, i think he's done a colt swap.

good luck

sweetness, you gonna bring that over for another bbq this summer?
itll be atleast summer of 2006 before its done. i hope to get it running by this summer but i will need to find a narrowed rear end for it among other things.

4G32 shares the 4G63 trans bolt pattern? Sure?

You need to crawl under that thing and find out what make/model transmission is in it. I venture to say it's a Chrysler varient.

From what I've found:

71-73 Automatic was a Borg Warner 35 (3 speed aluminum case)
74-78 Automatic was a Chrylser 30RH (Same as a A904 or similiar to A727)

The manual is more difficult to find information on. It's a 4 spd. Make? Model?

A family in the Detroit area raced one in the rally circuit and autocross. Here is the autocross car:

im not sure about the tranny bolt pattern but the motor mount holes are *exactly* the same. im not worried about the tranny as itll be getting a th-350. ill try to go get a pic of the back of the block today.

not sure, mine is an auto which is one reason i decided to go with auto again. i think it would be next to impossible to find a clutch pedal assembly for it. another is id be very limited in finding a bulletproof manual to hold the 600+ horses im hoping to make :)

LOL! its a done deal. i have everything planned. as soon as i get the car back from redding im going to pull the mock up 4g63 motor out, paint the engine bay, rewire the car with the painless kit, have my custom interior installed, install my new motor with a harness made by eric plebani, get my tranny in there, send it back to redding for the mini tub and installation of my rear end, get it back and run my brake plumbing, have a driveshaft made, put on my wheels and tires, get it all dialed in, then eventually paint it. whew! of course there is ALOT more little stuff but thats the big stuff. im seriously hoping to run 9s in it eventually but ill be happy with a streetable 10 sec ride. as you can see im not just dreaming im doing it :thumb:
