New headlight for us, 1GB guys

Those are really cool, what is the price though?
If they are really expensive and you want clearer headlights, there are a couple of tech articles here that explain cleaning them with fine grit sandpaper. When I did mine I used 1000 wet, then 2000 wet, then buffed with a rubbing compound/scratch removal and then regular car wax. Big Big Improvment. Just another thought
Good find though

dude you're my hero,i've been looking to get rid of my old headlights for soo fockin long now, even thought about cutting into the car to do a 95-97 conversion(still might do it) but damn does this make things alot easier

Hmmm, they look pretty nice. I cleared my headlights and they look pretty good, but I wouldn't mind having something a little different and they still don't look brand new. I dunno about the chrome look though, I prefer blacked housings etc

'92 - '95 huh? anyone really think they'll fit a 2G 1995 car too?? odd

either way, not a bad looking piece. Buy It Now for $188

Nice find. On the actual add....It says 92-94. If I still has my 1Gb Talon. I would of gottin those and took them apart the first day. And painted all the chrome crap inside black

So does anyone know if these use the same bulbs as factory? I just bought new silverstars for my stock lights...

WOW! those look really nice! :thumb:

Can we get a picture of them on an actual 1gb, I really want to see what they look like before shellin out the cash...

Still, great find :D

Note: they most likely use the same bulbs, look at the rear of the light, it is identical to the stock version

if only someone could make a damn ass projector kit for the 1gs...id be allll over it

I'm sure someone will come out with a black housing.

wow it has took long enough for sum one to start selling these. They look great!!! I am getting them 4 sure!

Anyone know where someone could get these headlights OTHER than ebay??? I been googling it for awhile and can't seem to find em...

I doubt you will find black housings until someone makes projectors. The "chrome" is the reflector design for those "euro" lights. You might be able to blacken some parts but you'd outright kill light output if you painted the reflectors black.

anyone find out or figure out who actually makes these lights??? I been looking all over... I just wanted to know who makes em to be able to ask a couple questions about em...

You don't paint the reflectors. You paint everything besides it. I did it on my 1Gb Talon and I just did it on my 96. Didn't mess up the light/brightness at all. Couldn't tell a difference. The output of the lights only depend on the very back of the reflector.

As far as the black housings... I suppose they could come with blackened housings up top and on the extreme sides - but other than that, there's really nowhere to blackout except for the reflectors themselves... I don't see that as being a good thing.

I don't think I'd consider projectors either unless they could retain the stock brightness - I don't like that the 2G ones actually decrease light output and beam pattern.

Those are nice, but what about a clearer parking light/blinker section? Anyone have/make those. I don't think the nice clear headlights would look so great juxtaposed with a dingy frosty blinker. (I know I'm a 2g guy, but my good friend and neighbor has a 1g).
