Autometer A/F gauge or RRE's Zeitronix???

They're both worthless on the factory O2 sensor. Consider them only to be Aperture Fillers in a gauge pod.

Your choice, roundy-round pretty lights, or uppy-downy elevator lights. It is really just a matter of your personal taste.

So what would be a gauge that would really work accurately? I already have a Autometer EGT that I am about to purchase...I am just so so so sure that i am running really rich...so I am getting a adjustable FPR also. What would you suggest?

Thanks :dsm:

In general you want to stay away from ANY AND ALL blinky blinky light AF gauges because you can't tell exactly what voltage you are at.

Another thing to note is that even if you get the digital readout O2 gauge like what RRE is offering they are only usefull to get you in the ballpark for tunning. O2's in general are not a great way to tune your car. You really need to get a pocketlogger or some other device that can show you knock and or timing. For years before the pocketlogger came out many of us did indeed tune off of the o2's but it was found to be inconsistant and inaccurate but like I said it will get you closer then just the seat of the pants feeling.

It's not the gauge, it's the O2 sensor. It isn't a tuning device, only a check-unit for the fuel injection brain to figure out whether there's too much or not enough, and that mostly for smog. It doesn't much care how much it's off, only if it's one or the other, from whence it tried to get closer to "good enough".

For about $400, you can go to a "wideband O2" sensor, and get better accuracy:
