update, finally 3052 numbers

well with some tuning, and unable to run high boost i dynoed and tuned the sucker the best i could with what i had.

on pump gas at 19psi, i dynoed:
375whp/3??tq, egts at 810.

on 110oct at 21psi:
411whp/395tq egts at 800.

tried running 23psi but i hit fuel cut which has been stopping me from running high boost. so the 800cc injectors are on order.
im happy with the result over result,Im hoping to run 28psi once the injectors come in, i dont think ill have a problem seeing 450+whp on race(which is my goal), and im still running on stock bottom end as well. ill be going down to the track this sunday to see what i can get, will update.

*update*
i was running into some breaking up issues, and losing boost. i changed the plugs and it helped, but the car was loosing boost. i had the low boost setting turned all the way up and the car was barely hitting 19psi, when i was at the dyno i turned it all the way up and hit 23psi before hitting fuel cut. heres my best time

2.678=60ft
13.626=1/4
113.89=trap
at 19psi

i found the leak and fixed it so ill be heading back down to the track in two wks.
 
Congratz on the #'s. How as the A/F? Do you have a dyno chart you can post up? Also, do you know how much timing you were getting?

that is amazing, those are some VERY impressive numbers, cant wait to see what that thing will be pushing at 28psi. oh yeah, are you planning on driving with slicks everyday? ;)
 
Yeah, I would like to know more information about the tuning and a dyno/AFR chart too.

With a real tuning system and more boost, that car has a lot more in it too.
 
i see youre trying to keep the hp around 400? I'd say you have a stock bottom end?
 
thx guys, ill have the charts up soon. im waiting for the guy to email them to me. im pretty sure once i get the bigger injectors ill have no problem in making 400+whp on pump gas with this turbo. the a/f was around 11-12.3 on average for all the runs.
 
honestly if u dont know how to drive fwd yes that will happen. ive had the same front set, nitto 450's for almost a yr and half now, and they still have alot of thread on them.
 
Why the hell were you only revving to 6300 rpm!?

Considering the bad tuning and the lack of revving, that car is making some seriously good power.

OMG Why so low? unless of course your knocking really bad. I usually go all the way up to 7500. The car flows alot more air the higher RPM's you go. I was flowing around 43-44 lbs/min @23psi and I'm sure you going to outflow me with full 272's and a slightly bigger turbo.

honestly the guy at the dyno said that the power was dropping off so it didnt make sense to go to redline. hopefully he'll send me the dyno charts so i can post them. timing was between 12-13 degrees

kinda OT but I noticed in another thread that you run retreads when you drag, I know this turbo is different but how was traction with retreads and the s20g?? Do you run retreads on the street? I ask because I have a turbo about to be installed similar to the fp3052 just no anit surge ports, or whatever they are called, and am wondering if I should go with 15" drag radials or slicks for the track.

honestly i had drag radials with the 16g, and cut out 2.0's with the s20g i had street tires and managed to cut a 2.0 so i think it all comes down to driving.
 
The 3052's were designed to blow full garrett and silly pte hybrid 50 trims away. If you have the coin the 3052 should be your first pump gas street setup.

think i be ok running low boost with this turbo on a stock 2g bottom end til i finish building my 6 bolt up.. my turbo is shot and i dont wanna buy one turbo just to get me going and drop another 1,300 for this one... i have everything else done to the car including a ported polished head, hks cams, everthing but the bootom end
