So I let my buddy Dale (fertez_turbo) drive my car for the first time tonight. It was dark and we were cruizin down the interstate at about 75 mph. 1/2 mile from our exit we nail a semi's old tire in the middle of the road. (Why cant people keep their sh!t out from the middle of the road!! sorry, back to subject) It wasnt his fault. There was no time to slow down, and swerving either way would've resulted in a major accident, so we hit it, and we hit it hard.

Needless to say, I now need to repair, repaint, and remount my now sagging front bumper. Also, I'm in the market for a new FMIC. My GReddy 24-row is now unuseable. And last but not least, back to the shop for the car's second alignment of the month.

Progressive agents are supposed to meet w/ me in the morning. We'll see how that goes.
I guess a tire can do much more damage than I ever thought......

damn, that sucks. It's really not even the truckers fault..he probably didn't even feel it blow, and even if he did its not like hes gonna go pull over and run in the middle of the highway to get it. Shit happens....you were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope something like that never happens tome.

i don't see your insurance covering your front mount unless you have special provisions to cover accessories....get your bumper and possibly alignment done though

Exactly, I figured with as much exterior modification I've done, It would be wise to have insurance on my aftermarket parts. My provisin states it covers any aftermarket parts and labor up to $5000. NowI have to decide which new bumper I want to go with and which new FMIC...... probably the same.......
