i am planning on having my white 91 laser painted. the color is starting to come off, it's just nasty. i was wanting to goto a silver/silverISH color. i'm not sure how it would look. does anyone have a silver 91? or pics that i can check it out how it would look? i really don't wanna do red/white/blue/black ... every 1g dsm is that color. thanks

Not every 1g is Red White blue or black. Mine is Champagne, well thats what they called it. Its a really light gold color, but in some lights it looks silver. As a matter of fact, one parking ticket I got at school the officer wrote silver in for the color of my car. Anyways, this is a pic of it, this may give you some of an idea.

If you are looking for a nice silver color..go with the 2gen color called silver /purple metalic pearl ..somethign like that ..it is what i had when i repainted .and got them to put a little more purple under the clear coat..so in differnet lights it is either grey, or purple...its not liek one of those camilion ones....i get compliments every day from it..good luck

I have a blitz body kit and 17 inch chrome wheels. what color should i paint my car im open to any ideas, the only reason i said i had a kit and wheels is so maybe you could picture somethign in your head. anyways any ideas welcome. tanks

my friend had his car painted a real dark blue color when he put the full blitz kit. I thought i was going to look ricey but it turned out to be the most beautiful talon i have ever seen.

I think dark blue would look nice too, the kind of blue that looks black at night. I am a fan of the dark metallic blue that porsche has.

wow, SVO1990musytang...90 LX coupe w/ a 2.3 turbo coupe transplant. I always loved the old SVO's......especially the 85 1/2-86 w/ the flush lights..i think that was the year they did the conversion...at any rate, good luck with your project, keep us updated.....

Your right the 85.5-86's had the flush mount headlamps.

I will keep you updated on my progress, however the progress will be on hold for a while as i have to put it away for winter soon. **mumble** DAMN CANADIAN WINTERS, LOTS OF SALT, HAVE TO PUT MY CAR AWAY! **mumble**

lime green or orange. I like the gold color that VIS has on their site to display the battle z kit. Nobody has really done that color, and it looks good. get the fender flares molded in with your paint job tho.

My 97 GS has a dark red or almost burgandy paint on the outside. On the inside I have tan seats and carpet while the dash is black. I am having the hardest problem coming up with a good color scheme for neons and caliper paint and such. I have no money to paint the car so have to work with what I got. Just want to do little things to make it stand out.

Has anyone seen a car like this with a great color scheme? Or do any girls come on this site with a taste for color.

pull the calipers off, sand the #@%#@%#@%#@% out of them then go over them with a nice buffing wheel and once you're done clear coat them. you should end up with a real nice almost chrome finish if you can do it right.

use some blue magic polish for the above post. That #@%#@%#@%#@% works wonders.

yeah those colors are cool...just can't be driving a car like that where i live...it'll get jacked

After spending 10 minutes laughing at the smiley getting kicked in his nuts I have to ask.... WTF is cucumber pink? I can't even imagine that color. Would that be some god awful combination of cucumber green with pink.. ick

I was wanting a Dark Metallic Blue as well. I'd recommend that but red is a good color too

i gotta honda civic around my area that is pink..i'll take a pic of it when i see it again
