I just orderd the star stage II turbo kit and no while im waiting i want to order the HKS Carbon-Ti (Hiper) exhaust systems. Now i dont know what version of this I should order. I looked at the layout of the 1998 GS and GST and GSX and it look remotly the same. I dont know which one to order or should i just order the one for GS. non-turbo and still give me the power with turbo. And a side note how do these exhaust sound. Or anyother ideas of exhaust i should do.

you can order exhaust for your gs but more then likley it will be 2.5" if you just ordered a star stage 2 then you are obviously going turbo so you might want a 3" exhuast and yes the gst exhausts will work for our cars. The gsx will not.

what kind should i be looking for i dont want it to sound like a fart can or tinny, just close to stock sound.

well i have heard good things about apexi exhausts once you go turbo though when your getting on it its not really going to be to quiet. i know at idle my greddy sounds great even when i am driving normal but when im boosting watchout it sounds like a damn freight train coming. thats a little exageration but you get the idea. if you want close to stock sound just purchase a stock exhaust off of a gst.
