Any proof of HP gains with 1G cams in 2G head?

I have a timing belt change coming up. I want cams, but just dont have the cash laying around right now. But I do have 1G cams, I know the 90's are bad to use, and I have 91-94's and are to be better.

I have read the lobs are bigger, but I am wondering if anyone is running 1G cams in there 2G and notices a differance?

I dont want to chage the cams and make the whole ordeal worthless. Does anyone have any numbers the throw around on torque or HP?

There is no real info backing whether the 1G cams will help/hurt/or do noting to the performance. Does anyone have any proof or useful information?

My buddy has a spare 1st gen engine laying around that we use as a parts motor. If there are any gains I will definitely be yanking those out.

so then by reading all of that that i just saw i would be better off just leaving the cams (which are 97) stock the only way i would see an increase is if i use the 93-94 exaust cam . guess i should just save up for a nice set of hks's later on in the future.
