when I just have the positive and negitive wire pluged in shouldn't the meter read lean all the way becuase it would be reciving 0 volts on the sensor line? (mine read rich which would mean on the sensor wire which isnt connected would be reciving 1 volt). and when I have it connect it doesn't move. I hooked up dvom to the signal wire on the # 4 white wire on the biggest plug on the pcm ( I actually spliced it and ran a wire and just put the probe at the end of the wire. then touched the inside of the head unit housing for the car stero where everthing else is grounded and im getting a lean reading when i just turn the car on with out starting it. I bought the car almost 3 years ago and it had 86,000 on it and now have 109k. so it might be time do it anyway and replace the o2 sensor cause I don't know when they last replaced it. I have have been venting for the last month on a stock mas setup so raw fuel and been going into the exgast so that choice may have finshed it off. Does the Denso O2 snesor hold up well when wenting I heard that, thats the one to go with for everything else. Sorry for my poor gramer and spelling skills.

ok sence no one care about me I talked with autometer today and when the ground and 12+ line are hooked up it should read rich. Then if you take the signal wire and touch a good ground the leds should go from rich to lean to rich then turn off just in case anyone else ever reads this and want to know if there gause is good. I spliced in to the pcm wire #4 using this guide

http://dmtalon.v8eaters.com/ecu_harness.html

and I get a 4.45v reading when I hook my dvom up to a ground and my new spliced in wire. thas alittle high about 4x from looking at the diragram is it good can someone verifie if i did the right wire cause i just want it work. and when i have my dvom hooked up the volt dont move ither when i step on it or let off. i think i have the wrong wire for this reason.

-I don't use that type of A/F guage & don't own any Autometer product so I can't help you on that. I use an voltmeter to read the voltage off the oxygen sensor instead, and instead of messing with the harness @ the ECU, there's an dedicate O2 sensor output connector to the right of the blower motor, it's hidden within that bundle of wire, you'll see a single wire connector that's isn't connected.

-But you already got an A/F guage so I don't think what I said above is helpful.

-There was a sticky for a low cost wide band O2 sensor set up some where here.

So your saying this little wire I can hook up the signal wire to it? ok I will search it out tommarow.

btw thx for the link they are good and all your other help.

Thx so much for all the help I now have my a/f gauge working because of this link.

In my head I thought I did it this way and when I pulled out the harness again I acutally did the wrong wire i did the detination one. so if you get around 4 volt you know you did it wrong it the other white wire on the other side of it. I could not find that hook up wore and it seems that others that have Gs-t could find it either but i got it to work so thank you so much turboholic !!! :thumb: . well one of the three down two to go. thx again.

Here is a link that does work showing the plug and a walk through

Btw after I put the car all back to gether I took it out for a test run to see how the gauge would read and there was a black Talon fwd turbo I beat him 2 out of 3 pulls so that made my day. It wasn't stock thats for sure I wish I know which bov he had it sounded cool. He was from Orgen
