I recently purchased dsmlink, a GM 3inch MAF sensor, and a ramchargers maft version 2 for my 97 Eclipse GSX 6bolt 2.3 stroker. I have searched and found some information on running these 2 together but I still have a few questions. I read since I am using dsmlink I set the injectors to stock (450), and base to 2, aux to 4, and zero out the other settings. As in Zeroing out the other settings i assume they mean the 3 turn dials idle, mid, & wot to the 0 dial setting inbetween lean and rich. In the manual it says to turn on mode switch 3 to enable startup enrichment, Do I not want startup enrichment? What does startup enrichment do>?

There are 4 small dip switches and 4 turn dials. The dip switches are

MODE SWITCH: set as follows
1 – OFF (3" GM MAF)
2 – OFF (3" GM MAF)
3 – OFF (ON to enable startup enrichment)
4 – OFF (OFF = MAF mode, ON = RPM mode)

The 5 turn dials are(from left to right)
Base: 2 (This is a global setting to match injector size to the vehicle)
Idle: 0 (For your idle corection)
Mid: 0 (This is mostly for setting your cruise map)
WOT: 0 (Wide Open Throttle setting)
AUX: 4 (used to adjust the airflow signal during heavy acceleration conditions when the purple TRIGGER wire is activated)

Thanks,
-Brian

aux 4 base 2 if using a 3" maf leave all dipswithes off. Leave the other 3 knobs to 0 like you have in the post above. Next, do not connect the RPM wire. This will keep the MAFT at a steady state no matter what RPM you are at. Next, lock iat and baro under ECU>MISC. Use DSMlink to make all adjustments to the car, in the link forums, search username "lokmeup" and in the search field, typin in "maft tuning". He has 3 tuning guides to calibrate the maft since it seems to alter the airflow, more so when running blowthru. I chose the calibrating the MAFT using a external boost reference which is the better method. I purchased the GM/ Delphi 3.3bar sensor and pigtail and wired her in. but any external boost refernce will do (greddy, AEM, apex ect). There is also a tuning guide for calibrating using a WBO, but the results are not accurate.
