Hey, have you guys ever heard of XTD clutches? I saw an auction for one on ebay. Price seemed ok, but i was just looking for some feedback.

i got one for my gsx, stage3 6 puck...works really well so far...but still on the break-in period....jus dont get their flywheels, they dont fit rite.....CRAP!!

A little advice that I have learned the hard way, get the proven/already tested stuff. Go with something lots of people have used before like the ACT. Don´t be the ginney pig (don´t know how to spell it)

Stick with the tried and true man. Do it right and do it once (well, with DSM clutches replace "once" with "less often" ;) )

If the only place you've ever seen them is on Ebay, there's probably a reason why.

Another thing to consider, how well are they constructed? Don't forget a clutch explosion could cost someone their leg.

I'll take this opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and feel cool.

"Theres never time to do it right, theres always time to do it twice"

As has been said, when you're looking at something that actually takes a little time to do (remove tranny, replace clutch) its usually worth it to spend the extra money, if not only so you don't have to do the job twice.

The bottom line is that when you're dealing with critical drivetrain components, going with the off brand to save a few $ just isn't worth it. The frustration of being stranded by component failure, or worse, by a grenading pressureplate is far large than whatever the $100-200 you saved can buy you
