Hey guys, just got a Talon tsi awd mint condition 15,800 miles on it :)
so anyways, heres my questions

1st-my front lights have like two sided velcro sticky tape, one sqaure in each corner on each light cover...is this normal or did they both fall off and the dealer stuck them back on that way?

2nd-I opened my passenger door and the trim on the door got caught on the fender and pulled it back...I inspected it closer and the clip that holds the trim on half way snapped...Where can I buy another clip, and is that an easy fix?

also just wanted to say "HOLY GOD SWEET MOTHER OF JESUS FKING CHRIST THESE CARS ROCK!" yeah...so anyways its a fast car, nascar truck with a crash bar ;)

p.s. stupid ass dealer put regular fuel in it to give me my "free full tank of gas" and I was like fck dude it takes premium...says right there on the gauge cluster.

other than those few quirks I now own a practically brand new talon 1995, garage kept, hahaha no scratches god I wanna fck it! yeah

First, welcome...2nd...u wanting to fck a car worries me...And other than that...The clip for the door cant be difficult so either make one urself, or a mitsubishi dealer can get you whatever it is...although you will pay for it...

As for the velcro...My headlights are not attached by velcro

Velcro was probably a mounting point for a set of tinted headlight covers. Don't even think of going balls to the wall with regular. I had a station attendant do that to me once and even on the highway, if I put more than half throttle down it would start knocking heavily.

yes stock engine, just hit 16,000 today but yeah i'm down to a little under a qaurter tank and its running excellent, fking fast but yeah no knocking and the headlights well I don't care just wondering...car is mint, even got a carfax on it,

the clip is plastic so I hope mitsu won't charge too much, are they in charge of taking care of talons now or do I just go there to ask for parts since the cars are essentially the same?

last question how do I get e-mailed when you guys respond so I can find the thread easier?

You could always pour a can of octane boost in it, better than nothing.

That doesn't work. I've tried it with two cans of octane booster. It only made my engine feel like it was running 88 octane. Just run it out, go easy while you're running it out, and don't refill until you're less thatn 1/8 of a tank.

ok so someone posted this thread in my first thread post here...anywho car is great...pretty sure the dealer put 87 in it but anywho after my first 93 oct fill up the damn thing flies now...got a synthetic oil change and the car is still smelling new..i'm at 19,000 miles now and still happy as can be with the car.

I got a blitz body kit although I may sell it or keep it depends, if anyone wants a painted black, fitted blitz front and rear bumper and lives in NC or SC let me know...400 bucks, if I don't install it myself.

peace guys
