Hmmm, we run 14.5 stock, my freind made 7-8 passes at 14.5, bone stock, not even K&N...

I have read all 5 pages, and have come to the conclusion that not 1 of the post in those 5 pages made any sense. I'm speechless.......

Their not capable of launching like wrx's and AWD cars with that kind of power cause of their lack in power, If u launch them to hard, here comes crank walk and more problems. .................I know the 1st gen's had that problem really bad, but so do the 2nd gens...........Also the GSX is heavier and when u have the lighter GST which is FWD u can feather it out and get a nice launch, although the GSX is more consitent off the line, but it is AWD, which means more heavy and they lack in power in stock AWD form and all the DSM trannys are junk.

Bwahahaha, *sigh*, bwahahaha. Wow, their common lack of automotive knowledge makes me giggle. Hey if I post about other cars at least I read up on them or talk to the owner. I know a lot of cars inside out because my friends own them or I do. The least they could do is an internet search to find some general info. I know launching my 2g hard I crankwalk everytime, it stinks but I love 1.7 60's.

funny this has been brought up, this is a true story.

An old friend has a 2g gsx, a 99, I don't remember who was driving at the time but we came upon a spec v ser with two kids in it.

From a roll they would pull the gsx which had an intake filter and I think an upgraded uicp and greddy bov. I don't know their mods but they did pull us from around 40 mph. Of course out of the hole they didn't stand a chance.

They have more displacement and prolly weigh less.

You know what a LS1 is? like a vette or camaro?? would you happen to know how easy they are to mod well these are pretty much the import version of that they have such much you can do to them...until you have a street legal sentra running 8s in the quarter you cant say ANYTHING. because we have more than one..... oh i also thought you should see how dumb u guys look

Man thats rich. Like a wrx tranny is strong.. for that matte there internals in that boxter motor isnt even as strong as ours. Shit, our trannys and motors handle way more power then wrx I have yet to come across. I know this casue after I totaled my GSX I almost bought a WRX and found out by the time you put 350whp your already at the limits of there tranny and almost there motor as well.

I now have a stock G VR-4 that runs high to mid 14's all day. 3bolt rear, cheap bridgestone tires, stock clutch and a motor that has over 180,000 miles on it.

This is the best part.
