Hey all,

Before I post up in the Classifieds, I wanted to give all of the locals a shot at one of these...

All are H1E's (60mm IND/83mm EXD compressor, 64mm IND / 74mm EXD turbine wheels)

Gawd...I've been staring at my HX-35 for months now. Ugh. I need to finish my GS-T. After playing with the 50-trim on the GSX (~28psi), I'm worried I'll be bored w/ the HX-35 before I even get to run it.

An HX-40 (H1E) would be nice, but I don't want to buy a whole new BEP housing, and a 35/40 hybrid just sounds too iffy to me.

I'm very interested to see how one of these H1E's works on the O.P.'s 2.4L 1g.

Well you could always machine the BEP turbine housing for the HX40 / H1E sized wheel. I was able to get a spare bolt-on PTE housing that I had for my old GT35R machined to fit my H1e. TURBOGLENN was able to machine it, without the use of any additional spacer between the turbine housing & the CHRA. If you are seriously considering moving up to the H1E, then I'd shoot him a PM nad see what he can do.

As for my H1E first impression, 15psi feels like 20psi on my old GT35R :thumb: The boost onset begins gradually (around 3400) & continues to pull from to there. MUCH better boost response vs my old GT35R setup :hellyeah: I'm still running an old tune & need to dial it in before I can put down any serious numbers, so for now here's a few pics...

I'm hoping to have it up & dialed by the next DSM meet

I have sold all of these turbos OMG

There is the possibility of getting more in the future though... If/when that happens, I will update this thread.
