FS: 1G Fluidyne Radiator - $150

I have a 1G Fluidyne Radiator for sale for $150. Located in South San Jose.

Picked this up a while back but never installed it as I decided not to use a 1G radiator on my GVR4.

It would not be a simple drop in replacement. It's shorter than an evo I radiator and does not have a filler hole. I'd suspect, much like my situation with the GVR4 that you would need a 1g thermostat housing.

I've decided not to use this on my GVR4 for that reason. In fact, I've found that an evo I, II, III radiator is a much better fit for the GVR4.

I plan to buy a koyo. Part number is KOYO R030561. I'd look into that as a replacement for your application if you want an aluminum radiator.

What do you mean by filler hole?
Anyways. I was thinking of getting a shop to make a custom one probably come spring time. Thanks for the tip on the Koyo, I will check it out!

He means the radiator cap is on the water neck and not on the radiator. I was barely able to squeez the Koyo R-Core into my GVR4, but it does fit. When I ran the Fluidyne on my Galant I had to build a spacer for the thermostat housing/water neck so that the radiator cap was the highest point on the cooling system.

I'm curious, how tight of a fit is the koyo, and more specifically, what part/area was a tight fit?

I have a FP3052 setup with the wastegate recirculated (FP o2 housing) and the recirc pipe is the closest part. It clears by about 1/4-1/2" at best. There's some room on the compressor side to go a little larger, but not much. Another thing to note, is the the Evo 3 radiator does not have provisions for the thermal switch (fan switch) so you will have to get one welded in (what I did) or figure something else out.

I'm aware of the need to weld in a bung for the thermal switch, and I'm running (will be very soon) an FP68HTA, so I guess I won't have to worry about space when compared to you since I won't be any larger than the stock turbo setup's footprint.

Pretty sure that bung is M16x1.5 but don't quote me on that... I had to get the spec from the techs at Fluidyne. You won't have any problems with the 68HTA setup clearing.
