Hey guys, this isnt a really a wanted to buy ad, but I just wanted to see if any people are thinking of getting rid of their dsm in the near future.

I have been looking for a dsm now for a couple a months, but I cant find anything clean. There are a lot less of these cars for sale even in the past 3 years. I went to a couple of meets a while back and heard people saying they were going to sell their cars soon.

Id just like to get in contact with people and buy a car that I know was in good hands. Im leaning towards a 1g or vr4, but Im not against a nice 2ga. If this is breaking the rules, Im sorry and you can close it.
 
God, Im going crazy. Its so hard to find dsms right now. Ive even started looking in Oregon and Nevada haha.
 
I have 2 non running 1G TSIs. White 93 that needs a water pump. Has a few tasteful mods.

And a Black 92 TSI project car with over $10k in receipts in mods.

I really really like that 1g and have cash right now, I just cant buy a car that wont pass smog. :cry:

Just have someone hook you up with smog and you can consider it mine tomorrow. :)

yea I know what you mean! I couldn't find the 2g gsx that I wanted... I found like 3 or 4 but they all had an issue, either in really crappy shape and over priced, or barley running and overpriced, if not not running and still overpriced ha ha

I ended up getting this project gst I have now last summer. Ill get rid of it in the near feature if the right person will trade me for their gsx ha ha

I am selling my 95 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD because I am an injured vet and can not climb in and out of this car anymore. I was originally trying to make this a show car but now I can not work so I must sell her. I owned a 95 GSX Mitsubishi Eclipse built up to 300HP before I bought my Talon and I have 6+ years experince with DSM. Although the GSX Eclipse and Talon Tsi are very similar, there were less of the Talons made. To take it a step further there were even less Talons made with the red on black paint job. Take a look for yourself on any other car site and see how hard it is to find a talon for this price in this condition with a rebuilt engine and under 100,000 miles on the chasis. I rebuilt the engine at 89,XXX miles and the odometer now reads 90,882. I also replaced bushings around the ball joints as well as all the CV boots with fresh grease packed into the half shafts. I replaced the hub bearing as well. The oil was changed less than 200 miles ago and the transmission gear oil was changed out when I rebuilt the motor. The car recently passed smog with no problems and is currently registered through 2010 to jan 2011. The engine runs strong and has a very mean sound. I will try to remember all the mods so that I can list them below.

Full 3" turbo back exhaust w/ cat delete
B&M short shifter w/ mazda 6 shift knob
Auto meter boost guage
225 walbro fuel pump
Rear Camber kit
New knock sensor
Slim line radiator fan


That is all I can remember for now. The car has no radio but all the wires are there to install one. There are also wires running to the back for subs. Basically I got all the way through the mechanical stuff and then couldnt finish the cosmetics. The car is 15 years old so the original paint has some dings and nicks. The car has a clean title but was backed into in a parking lot and the asshole didnt leave a note. I covered up the damage but to be perfect it would need a professional job. Since the car has a cracked bumper I bought a full body kit for it that I will throw in with the sale. Like I said I wanted to make it a show car but due to injury I cant finish the job so I am selling the car as is. Im asking $6000 or best offere but I wont come down from that price much so please do not insult me with a low offer. The custom intercooler kit cost $1000 by itself. I could part the car out for more than what I am selling it for... Give me a call and come take a look. I would really like to see this car sold to someone that knows what DSM is all about. Kelly Blue Book can not put a proper price on this car because of its rarity and many modifications.

I'll probably be selling my 2GNT within a year I just don't have the time to smog it anymore, I got too many cars, and no space. If I had my own house I would totally turn it into a full blown race car though hehe. It has a Star Turbo kit and a built engine. I'd really like to let it go to someone who'd take good care of it, me and this car have been through a lot. It is a salvage title from a front side collision not my fault but I had the frame straightened and everything is in spec. The paint is oxidizing pretty bad also =( Its a turbo RS, the lightest (and best handling in my opinion) of the 2Gs. It'd pass smog if you took the turbo kit off also I have enough parts to swap back and forth. I'm going to try and smog it within the next couple months also.

I need all leather and all the bells and whistles... I know I"m asking a lot but I'm wanting to see what people will offer.

If the motor has over 100k please don't bother...

Other wise hit me up and let meknow! I don't care about smog or that crap.. I don't live in an area that would care... so please let me know what you guys have to offer!

Whoa, its been a while since Ive been here. Yeah, Im keeping the neon until I finish nursing school next year. Its been a real trooper and will never have a dsm be my only car again. ROFL

Im still looking, found a couple that looked nice, but nothing that really made me want to go to the bank asap. Im really picky when it comes to dsms so it might be a while.
