So.. I have a wild hair and I really want an evo. however to do this i need to dump the 92 first.

1992 Eagle talon - Black
Mod list:

3 inch intake pipe
BC 272 int/exh cams
BC 1mm oversize valves
BC valve springs
FP exh manifold
td06 20g(rebuilt, has 4000 miles on it )( 20-22 psi )
Joe-P inline boost controller
tubular 2.5 inch o2 housing
2.5 inch custom exhaust with catalytic converter ( car is quiet )
magna flow muffler

CFDF Clutch
rebuilt clutch pedal assembly with brass bushings, welded Z arm and extended pivot fork( welded nut )

boost guage, oil guage (oil guage is not hooked up )

ECMLink ( Tuned for e-85 )
setup for speed density
1200cc injectors
Omni 4bar map
gm IAT sensor

tuned to run at 12.0-12.3 AFR gas scale on E-85
2.5 inch thick fmic from punishment racing

tires have 8000 miles on them

Transmission, was a perfectly good built transmission but 3rd does grind occasionally now because i didnt get the pedal assym fixed quick enough.

Jacks transmission 2.0 ( welded center diff )
installed approx 10k miles ago
Car will come with the stock transmission that came out of the car ( 2nd gear grinds, however this transmission *should* be a prime candidate for 100% evo 3 internals )

clean interior for the most part, visors need attention also one of the black things the privacy cover goto is broken ( unsure how ), a few of the buttons that cover screws on panels are missing.

kenwood stereo with all new speakers.

Oil was recent changed ( ~400 miles ago )
new brakes and rotors all around

with e-85 i average 17mpg ( 200-220 miles per tank ) at 22 psi on a td06h 20g with cams and the rest that you see here. ( horsepower would be
according to DSMLink's hp calc i average around 320-340 hp at 5.5k ( its near impossible to get past this rpm without being retarded on the street )

THE BAD:
car needs a paint job at some point before the body starts to rust ( THERE IS NO SURFACE RUST ON THIS CAR AT THIS POINT )
Needs shocks/struts. These were supposed to go on the car last month but I decided to buy a laptop for school instead ( BS in computer science > bouncy ride )
shifter cables need adjustment, im just too lazy to do this... ( hard to get into 5th and rev at times )
The hood on the car is a Seibon CF hood I bought it because it was light and the rest of the car needed paint anyway, it has cracks down to the weave and should be replaced, if you know a good body shop... it could probably be covered up but it for the most part cannot be repaired.

In Summary:

This car is driven daily 75 miles and has never left me stranded nor has it ever gave me problems aside from the one time it tried to get hot on me ( hose from coolant overflow was sucking in air ).

Car is in the best possible mechanical health ( Important to these cars ), needs cosmetic help, interior is all there( aside from noted parts, even have the spare and tool kit in the back ).

I HAVE ALL PAPER WORK FOR THE CAR PREVIOUS TO ME OWNING IT ( includes smogs, oil changes and other assorted stuff, such as paper work showing even the "stock transmission of the car was rebuilt in 2002 )

I have the title in my possession.

guys... i'm the one that bought the car in the other thread. and no i will not part the car out.

i'm in zero hurry to get rid of the car, if it doesnt sell it doesn't sell.

the other thread is just to show what was on the car when i bought it.

the car has more parts and is in better condition than when i bought it. There was soooo much wrong on this car it took me months to get all the hackjobs taken care of.

the bad idle he spoke of in his thread ended up being an intercooler core that had split from hitting something. car idles at a dead on 800 rpm ( cams willing ).

so just to say again, the car is still available but no parts off the car will be sold individually because i drive the car daily.

if you do decide to part it out let me know would you? :hmm:

HAHA, just kidding... or am I?

i'm going to beat you with the pair of stock bump sticks i have laying in the garage.

sucks dude but sometimes you got to move on.

I personally don't think this sucks at all. room for 5, still decently quick even bone stock. trunk space.

I have a kid so the dsm just isnt working for that but i'm not wiling to let go of turbo charged cars so... it's an evo or a subaru ( please no )

i want something newer than 2000... tired of 15+ year old cars and all the problems they come with.

I just got done fixing this one up, aside from a paint job and needing shocks there aren't many dsm's with the the reliability that this one has.

Chris can vouch that i drive this car to work Every Day ( and have been for the past 6 months )

that equates to 1 day of down time ( fixing throttle body leaks and broke a bolt ) out of half a year.

I think you should plastidip your car prior to selling... might make the car look a little nicer then the paint job it has on it

Car is no longer for sale. ( for now ) financial issues are forcing me to abandon the evo pipe dream for a while.

See, you cant afford an Evo.... your trying to save up for a box of plastidip arent you

Well we should start a Help GUFI plastidip his car fund

no i can afford the evo. that's the easy part... the hard part is getting the bank to believe me LOL
