Okay, so if all goes as planned, I should have the money to get a 1G within the next couple of months. I'm pretty excited about that and have a good idea about what all I want to do with it.
The problem, as I talked about in my newbie intro thread. . .

. . . is that I don't know anything about cars. Other than the most very basic information about how a car works, I'm pretty clueless.
But I'm willing to learn.
So I'm looking for local guys who will be willing to take me under their wing and help me out here. I'd like to meet some of you local DSMers, see your cars and, if you're willing, have you show me a thing or two. Maybe, if you're a really kind soul, you'll even be willing to help me avoid common pitfalls and buy the right car once I get the cash.
Anyway, thanks in advance. I hope to hear from some cool Utah dudes.
