Greetings
My name's Nick. I am moving to Colorado in about 5 weeks and am wanting to know what the street/dsm scene is like there. I bought my first DSM in 2007. I had a semi built 95' TSi AWD that saw more time on jackstands then it did with the streets. I sold it a year later to get a bike. I'm saving money up and am driving a $700 beater right now so I can get another bike and another DSM. Looking for a 95-99 GSX and I'm planning on using an EVO 8 ECU and modding the car until the 7bolt blows. I will probably piece together a 6bolt because I've had a 7bolt go out on me. Anyway I'm moving from Kansas City. The scene here is great but not a lot of DSM people anymore, everyone has gone Honda it seems. Turbo Hondas are cool and all, but nothing beats AWD and the sound of a 4G63.
I have TONS of experience working on these cars which is why I want another one. I was origionally planning on getting a WRX or EVO if I could find it cheap enough but I really just want a 2GB GSX to daily drive but keep my beater around in case it breaks down. How is the market for used 2G AWD cars out there? I would prefer one that is stock, or maybe just a few bolt-ons. 5-Speed is a must as well.
