Someone to Tune AEM EMS
I'm looking into getting AEM EMS, and I was wondering if anyone here can tune it?
I have the feeling I'll have to pay to play either if I have an individual do it (1st choice), or if I go to the shop (2nd choice).

Well that response is certainly a start. But Jake I still need to send you that $100000000000000 you asked for yesterday. I wonder if PayPal can send that large amount.

Most of the shops that have a dyno can tune AEM.
Revolutions, Carz, Mac, etc.
You wont be able to tune it for crap with out a dyno, so expect to be booking LOTS of time.

There is a shop in the springs called http://jackstransmissions.com. If you have a wideband his bro can do it for yea. He was born with a gift on AEM. Ive been told he can have the car idleing like stock in just a madder of minutes. Email him and see if they can still do it. Very good guys.

I just called MAC and they said $150/hr and 2-3 hours to tune. Score, I think I'll get EMS.
I just really wish someone I knew could tune it. I know MAC will do a fine job, but I feel more comfortable if someone I knew could do it... like Jake.

Last time I was at mac they went off how it would take just an hour just to get the car to idle. They told me to go with safc or dsmlink. That turned me away from them.

They told me to go with DSMLink too. Here's how the conversation went:
MAC: DSMLink would fits your needs better.
Me: No I want AEM EMS because I can connect a digital dash logger into it for the track.
MAC: Is your car a daily driver?
Me: No.
MAC: So is it just a weekend car?
Me: No, my car is just a learning project.
MAC: EMS will be fine.
lol

It wasn't Bill, it was some kid. When I know what I want, then you can't change my mind.

I was gonna say that Bent at www.pfispeed.com in ft collins use Aem on almost everycar that wants a standalone ....and AEM brought him to california to go to school and learn how to tune the AEM properly..............I mean he tuned a civic single cam to get 60mpg!!!!!!!! that is crazy.....but I would say in CO. he is the man to go and see if you want to get your car tuned......call him @ 970-377-2216 tell him Robert wit the 420a sent you.
I have seen him tune alot of cars and hes the shit dude.....I dont see why he could not tune the DSM link either
If yo do go to ft collins youll see my 420a race car there
