The Great, 3rd annual DSM BBQ! June 24th

Ok. With about 4 weeks left and counting.
It's an all-day (10am-9pm), family event. With usually 50+ cars and 100+ people. Food is provided by you. And so are the events. Some people have stepped up to the plate for offering assistance. I hope that many more can as well. This will only make this event better.

Where is it? The Heronry Overlook in Chatfield State Park in Littleton CO. This facility overlooks the nesting trees for great blue herons south of the reservoir. With great expance the views of the mountain range is awsome! Its facilities include shelters, one covered platform shelter, one lookout tower, 15 tables, two group grills, space for 350 people, one hydrant fountain, vault toilets, poles for a volleyball net and horseshoe pits.

Directions - From Denver, take Wadsworth Blvd. (Colorado Highway 121) south past C-470, and turn left into the Park at the Deer Creek entrance. As an alternate route, take Santa Fe Blvd. south to Titan Parkway, turn west on Titan Parkway to Roxborough Park Road, and turn north to the Plum Creek entrance.

When is it? Saturday June 24th. 10am - 9pm

How to get to the site? Will try for an attachment for map and print to for your needs.

Park admission? 6$ per car at the park's gate. Anything else you are kind enough to bring to share with others.

Events? Lots o stuff. Food and drink. Volleyball. Water balloon toss (or water-sling wars). Photo ops. "Best of car" show. Small-parts swap (keep them in your car please). Trivia contests. And more.

Disclaimer: Please be kind to the park grounds, people and visitors. Any violations and It's my direct responsibility, and money I have to pay out in huge fines for them. Your repect will be lost and I will never do this again if I'm taken advantage of. So please be conciderate. Thank you.

I think I am going to try and make it after 5:30 when I get off work. I drive a blue GSX with the crappiest looking hood ever seen. If its not running better then I will be in the Syclone.
