Any Dsm enthusiast in utah. We should all meet in salt lake sometime when it warms up in april or may.

I'm on board with that!! Here is a thread that I started a little while ago trying to find some of you guys to see what you have and possibly get together down the road. I'm sure we can ALL learn something from each other.LOL

Great idea, lets make it happen.

Question: I'm looking for a good shop to rebuild my 2g 4g63, any suggestions?

It was probably my buddies car you saw there at the speed shop.. Is it a white 2g gst? But I personally wouldn't take my car there cause when he got his car back (had a shep stage 2 installed by them) They didn't tighten down any motormounts and the bolts to the tranny were hand tight!OMG As if that wasn't bad enough, the coolant lines to the throttle body weren't on and there was a bunch of other shit we had to re do.

But on topic, I would be down to have a little get together.:talon:

My girlfriend and I are considering a move from the sweltering heat of Phoenix to some mythical place where water might fall from the sky from time to time if the gods so allow. I know the central Colorado corridor is replete with DSM/GVR4 owners, but Utah? I'm not seeing much. In talking with the GF lately, SLC is looking better and better, but I don't know what I'd do without my network of local DSMers to keep myself busy with important things like fixing leaks.

I've been through a couple older threads in the Hangout discussing UT DSMers, but how active are you guys? Organized much?

One other thing... is there any rally action out that way? SLC would make a great base from which I could get over to Pikes Peak, down to Prescott (possibly Gorman), and up to Washington, but closer is always better.

Thanks for the read.

hey. We live in salt lake, and are new to this site. If your concidering moving here, keep in mind that Rocky Mountain Race way is fun in the summer time, but the only thing that sucks is when the snow hits, your pretty much stuck like everyone else. Our track closes in September, and opens in April. As far as the streets, there's alot of young bucks that built their rides with daddy's credit card, so alot of them aint down to run. But there's a few like us that will tear it up if there's no SLPD or UHP around. Ya gotta watch them cause they will impound your shit. Wherever you decide to go, keep it safeand clean. Peace. Blackknite.

I just had a couple connecting flights in SLC this past week, does that count? I also drove through on my way to Denver in the moving truck... :)

You'll have a brand new world-class road course in SLC (Miller Motorsports Park). I'm jealous! But we should have a brand new club track ourselves before too long, so I guess it's not all that bad.

I want to take my car to miller motorsports park so bad. That place looks awesome.

But anyways, I am about a 30 to 45 minute drive from SLC. Down here in ogden, there aren't many DSMrs. I have yet to make it to a meet.

This is a good local board for Utah DSMrs.
