Evans NPG+ Super Coolant?

Sure. More common for an engine to get hot and spew antifreeze over everything vs fuel.

I talked with a person who raced the Eclipse back in the 90's that was sponsered by the company. He said they didn't see much of a gain running the Evans product. Coolant temps were about the same on track.

A hotter engine makes more power. To supercool an engine is not its goal. The advantage is way it transfers heat and maintains its form. Enabling you to run hotter.

It's goal is that it stays in a more liquid state than turning into vapor in the coolant passages in the head, because a gas pocket will be a hot spot leading to detonation.

Funny I was just looking at reviews for this stuff last night trying to decide whether or not to run it on my new build. As I understand it, it actually cools worse than water, but not by too much of a margin. It's possible that your temperatures may be higher with this coolant. It's main benefit is being able to run much higher temperatures without boiling and creating hotspots in places where vapor has displaced the coolant.

The stuff sounds great, but it's hard to find too many user reviews on it. The only downside that I can think of is the lack of availability. It's not something you can run to the store and get if you happen to need to pull the radiator or something else in the cooling system.

My friend uses it in his race car (road racing) . Says he uses it, but didnt see any gains/benefits so wouldnt do it again.

I have used it. temps in florida heat went up maybe 20 degrees. It does prevent detonation. Similar to that first pull when your engine is cold. Its like that when hot. I bought some extra for a friend who never picked it up. I have 3 gallons 60 shipped if anyone wants to try it. its 27-28 a gallon direct not including shipping.
