I'm trying to build my car around these rules, since I believe that it can be pretty competitive if done right. Currently, I'm trying to finish my engine, and I've come to the management aspect of it. I'm looking into converting to an EPROM ecu and buying a stage 3 keydriver chip, and then having it mapped to have a good tune at 11psi, which is the factory boost level. I've upgraded everything in the engine bay around these rules, and now it's just time to tune the darn thing. I have a B16G on there now, however I'll be buying a 14b soon, so getting the most out of this turbo at 11psi, is quite crucial to compete with the wrx's.

I've read this thread over on sccaforums (http://sccaforums.com/forums/2/73942/ShowThread.aspx), and it was quite thorough, but didn't really answer my questions.

The Stage 3 keydriver chip has a stutterbox option, and I was wondering if this is a legal modification?

Thanks :thumb:

Ok, and another question:

I've heard that there is a restricter in the stock boost controller, and if that is removed, the boost will be bumped up to ~14psi, from 11psi. Would this be legal?

sorry not in stx; good luck on the uphill battle; stx is hard enough w/ a 2g!
