Thought it might be nice to have a thread listing the nicer hotels to stay at near various race tracks. Feel free to list the bad ones as well.

Thunderhill:

Good- Best Western Golden Pheasant in Willows
The Amerihost Inn in Willows

Reno-Fernley:

Good- The Silver Legacy in Reno

Bad- The Nugget in Sparks

Laguna Seca

Good- The Laurel Inn in Salinas

Bad- Motel 6 in Monterey, it's right next to the friggin airport

Willow Springs

Good - essex house, devonshire inn (the more charming of the two)

Jim Hall karting track

Good - hilton garden inn
Good - a camper van in the parking lot (apparently that's allowed)
