I'll bet he had to go clean out his pants after that one!! In rally there is NO safe place to stand, those cars go flying everywhere.Greg Collier said:

Slapnut said:The thought behind this sport is good, but the safety aspect is bad. From the WRC videos that i have seen, people get hit at almost every race. To me, this is not cool.
Slapnut said:let's let all the fans stand on the track at a NASCAR event from now on.

Microrcdude said:it wasnt rally, spoon sports never made a rally specific car
Ive seen spoon cars too, at the 25 hours of thunderhill, and here in town when they used to race SCCA.laserspeeddemon said:I don't think that was a spoon sports car. I've seen them in person during the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race. They don't have a white zig-zag going over it. It's just strainght blue to yellow.
BTW, that wasn't a rally race either (I don't think)

It is cool to work as a cornerworker though, earn credits and also muhaha be 5 feet from the action, watching a legends car blow its engine right in front of you and production cobras spin out is beautiful in its own little way.
That corner worker had no protection, I feel sorry for him if he was assigned to that place. Also racers really need to be considerate of corner works, we volunteer our time to be there to protect YOU! When we have those debri, yellow, emergency worker flags up, dont come screaming around the corner like you normally do, have some respect. This weekend I had a debris and yellow flag and a stupid m3 thought he was too cool to respect the flags and almost lost it coming around the corner, if a emergency personnel was there he would have hit him regaining control. Please we are there for your safety.
